TERRIBLE

I hired their team in the UK to put my website on the first page of Google 2 years ago. The manager I spoke to on the phone was very polite and he promised to deliver within 3-4 months They sent me reports every 2 weeks and at first everything was going great. In 7 months I asked him why there was no result and why my website wasn't on the first page yet. The guy told me I had chosen difficult phrases and that they were too competitive. I thought his excuse was strange because I had gone with the words that he had recommended. The excuses carried on for half a year, then he disappeared completely for several months (no replies, no reports). They only replied when I left negative reviews on the internet. Dorothy emailed me after I had left negative reviews and informed me that the guy had been fired. (I don't understand, the guy was fired and they forgot about my project for months?) Dorothy apologised and promised to deliver the result within a short period of time. She told me they would re-design the website and I gave them full access and freedom. In two weeks as she promised, she sent me the new website and asked me to pay £300 for a hosting service. I explained to her that I wouldn't do it because the hosting was arranged with Wix for many years and it wouldn't be reasonable for my company to pay for the hosting again. After that she became very rude, she told me that it was my fault that there was no result and refused to refund. First of all, nobody from your company had ever mentioned that hosting with Wix would be a problem. Second of all, my hosting provider wasn't a secret to start with. I was very honest about it from the very beginning. Even though your staff had known the project wouldn't succeed, they tricked me into the contract and now refuse to refund, blaming me in everything. Please explain to me in what way it's fair.
