Overview

IndustryBuilt was founded in 2004 in response to a need in the food industry for purpose-built business software that met the demands of mid-sized companies. It had to be both easier to use and more affordable than incumbent ERP systems like SAP and Oracle. That focus on a single industry, along with the benefits of its partnership with Microsoft, helped IndustryBuilt establish itself as a leader in food industry software with JustFood. In 2007 IndustryBuilt repeated its successful formula by launching EquipSoft: integrated business software for equipment dealerships, again based on Microsoft technology.
